Leigh Davies got Littlemore off to a great start, beating
Lee Parsons 65-35, 50-13.
Lee Haggerty then beat
Tony White in the next two frames 60-12, 47-39 to make it 4-0 before
Mick Aust won Yarnton’s only frame when he beat
Gavin Murray 48-33. The final frame saw Murray win 57-50 on the black.
A draw between County C and Eynsham D leaves both sides winless. Lee Smith gave County the lead with a 43-22, 43-37 win against John Dutton before Syd Patterson beat Andy Cooper 55-21, 42-20 to bring Eynsham level. Eynsham then went in front when Roy Gascoyne took the fifth frame 69-22, but Victor Norman rallied to win a close final frame 50-47.
In a rearranged fixture, Oracle C beat County C 4-2.
