Stuart Reeve and
Colin Cutler won a frame each, with Reeve making a break of 22 during his 58-18 win in the opening frame. Cutler replied 54-38 in the second frame to level matters for
Witney.
Justin Page eased past
Colin Adams 62-39, 61-26 to put
Woodstock 3-1 up before
Paul Chester defeated
Priyan Shah 73-29, 59-10 to give
Witney a share of the spoils.
Witney B just cannot win at home, this time slumping to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Cherwell B. Ray Benwell beat Terry Cook 46-38, 46-26 to put Cherwell ahead. Andy Benwell took the next frame 63-32 to make it 3-0 before Stephen Hedges replied 39-27 to get Witney off the mark. Simon Barker reduced the deficit further when he beat Steve Benwell 64-39 in the fifth frame, but Benwell responded to win the final frame 59-39 and with it, the match.
