Tony Nichols had few problems against Pete Truby, winning 47-32, 46-16. Karl Lewis lost out 52-51, 66-22 to Tony Smith as House Club went 4-0 ahead. Simon Painter beat Brian Field 52-37 in frame 5 to stop the rot, but Field recovered to win the final frame 49-41
