A top of the table clash in Division Four saw with Morris Motors C maintain their 100% start with a 4-2 win against second placed Eynsham B. James Griffin edged out Allan Blackwell 44-34, 46-41 to put “Motors” ahead before Eynsham took the third frame when Adam Hingley beat Roger Tomlin 50-41. Tomlin then took frame four 43-38 to make it 3-1. Bob Hayward ensured victory for Morris’s by winning the fifth frame 48-37, but Daniel Brooks claimed the final frame 61-30 for Eynsham.

East Oxford Con B are in third place after the “Barresi Mafia” secured a 4-2 win against Cowley Con C. Tony Barresi beat Jim Alder 56-52, 44-24, with Robbie Barresi then sharing frames with Neil Kirby, 29-55, 58-16. Julio Barresi and Brian Mabbutt also won a frame apiece, 54-40, 39-60.
