Cherwell B picked up a much needed win 4-2 at
Eynsham in
Division Four.

Mark Clifford got the better of
Daniel Brooks to put
Cherwell 3-1 up. Substitute player
Dave Walker pulled a frame back when he beat
Mick Lomas in the fifth frame, but Lomas then replied to win the final frame and the match for

Cowley Con C failed to capitalise on a 3-1 lead and allowed Cowley Workers A to scramble a draw. In fact, the Workers Club took an early lead through Darren Murray only for Neil Kirby to level for Cowley Con. Brian Mabbutt then beat Simon Walters to put the Con Club ahead before Lee McAllister overcame John Simpson thereby snatching the draw. Morris Motors C came from 3-0 down to draw with East Oxford Con B. Gary Winkfield beat Roger Tomlin to give EOC the lead which Robbie Barresi then extended to 3-0. Steve Kirkland won the fourth frame on the black to kick start Morris’s comeback which was completed by Bob Hayward who defeated Tony Barresi in both of the last two frames. .
