Division Two remains tight with only 5 points separating the first five teams. County B have gone back to the top of the division following a 4-2 win at Abingdon Con B. Peter Baskerville took the opening frame for Abingdon before Paul Paddick levelled for County. Nick Anderson then beat Lynn Dick to put County 3-1 in front, before Stuart Fenwick blitzed Kevin Hicks 66-1 in frame five to make it 3-2 and set up a tense finish. Hicks recovered his composure and took the final frame to ensure County went home victorious. Oracle A slipped to third following a 4-2 defeat at home to Eynsham A who move above their opponents. Jimmy Cairns took the opening frame for Oracle, but Richard Partlett then replied to make it 1 all. Eynsham moved in front thanks to Lawrence Parsons who beat Matty Bramall 2-0. Jamie Saczak pulled a frame back for Oracle, but breaks of 16 and 27 enabled Kevin Truby to win the final frame and the match for Eynsham.
