Bury Knowle A have jumped from 6th to 2nd in the Premier Division following a useful 4-2 win at home to Riley B. James Stone took the opening frame 66-62 on the black to put the home side ahead, but Riley’s levelled through Dave Bough who won the second frame 59-39. Chris Stone won the third frame 51-42 to make it 2-1 to Bury Knowle, but Riley’s were level again after Dean Campbell had claimed the fourth frame 59-12, which included a break of 45. Bury Knowle’s victory was secured by Andy MacBryan who beat Malcolm Bough 65-32, 69-31.
