Riley C made it 2 wins out of two with a 5-1 success at Witney B and move into second place in the table. In the battle of the Simonís, Rileyís Simon Surrage beat Simon Barker 79-44, 66-19 before Ed Downey made it 3-0 with a 61-34 success against Stephen Hedges. Hedges won the fourth frame 54-25 to secure Witneyís only point. Altaf Ali rounded off a good night for Rileyís by defeating Lee Stevens 76-35 57-51.
Cherwell A are third following a 5-1 win over Witney C. Colin Adams came close to winning the opening frame for Witney, but lost out 56-49 on the black to Steve Benwell who also claimed the second frame 52-31. Ray Benwell then got the better of Colin Cutler 65-31, 58-29 to give Cherwell a 4-0 lead. Paul Chester too the fifth frame 58-32 to pull a frame back, but he could not stop Andy Benwell from winning the final frame 67-37.
