Riley C had their lead at the top of the table cut to 3 points following a defeat at home by Cherwell A who move into second place. Ray Benwell got Cherwell off to a good start by beating Simon Surrage 57-30, 50-30 before Ed Downey clawed a frame back with a 51-27 win over Andy Benwell in the third frame. Cherwell’s 2 frame advantage was soon when Benwell took the fourth frame 56-25. Altaf Ali won the fifth frame 59-24 for Riley, but Steve Benwell won the final frame 52-43 to ensure that the Kidlington based side went home victorious.

Woodstock A slipped to third following defeat at New Club A. Ian Gee and Stuart Reeve traded frames, Gee took the first frame 63-38 while Reeve replied 55-35 in the second. Justin Page and Justin Shepherd also won a frame each, Page 62-38 and Shepherd 57-28. New Club’s match winner was Alan Mander who beat Priyan Shah 50-28, 67-43.

Witney B travelled to Ashton A and collected a 4-2 win. Lee Steven opened the scoring with a 62-40 win against Pete Fenn, but Fenn then took the second frame 58-43. Terry Cook then out played Alan Harvey 57-16, 53-38 to put Witney 3-1 up before Terry Chambers beat Simon Barker 54-33 to take the fifth frame for Ashton. Chambers was unable to repeat things in the final frame and Barker won 48-13 to secure victory for Witney.
