Yarnton RBL A moved off the bottom of the Division 5 table following a fine 4:2 win at home to Littlemore RBL B in a very competative match. Lee Parsons scored first for the home side, beating Anthony Turner 46-36, before Turner returned the compliment 49-32 in frame two. Doug Turner then beat Malcolm Binns 59-46 in the third frame to put Littlemore ahead, only for Binns to level things again, taking frame four 55-15. The final two frames saw Mick Aust and Steve Fitzgerald do battle, with Aust coming out on top 40-40, 55-33 to win the match.
