Eynsham C secured their first win of the season with a 4-2 success at home to Cowley Con D. Alan Wakefield beat Doug Turner to put Eynsham 2 up, but Jason Stubbs struggled to get going and was comprehensively beaten by Anthony Turner. Mick Lyne (Eynsham) and Simon Painter (Cowley Con) battled through the final 2 frames, which proved to be very close, both going to the final black and both won by Lyne.
