Snooker Team Competitions

Colin Cutler Memorial Trophy & Buildbase Plate (Handicapping applies) Semi final matches are randomly drawn on match night.

All matches are to be played in the following format and teams must draw lots to determine their player order. Frame 1 (Home & Away 1st Players) Frame 2 (Home and Away 2nd Players) Frame 3 (Home & Away 3rd Players) Frame 4 (Home & Away 1st Players) Frame 5 (Home and Away 2nd Players) Frame 6 (Home & Away 3rd Players). Frame 7 (deciding frame if tied at 3-3 after 6 frames) The Semi-finals of these competitions will be randomly drawn. The first team to secure 4 frames wins. In the event of a 3-3 tie, an additional frame shall be played with both teams drawing lots to decide which 2 players are involved. Players are handicapped according to their teams division in the league; Premier Division - Oracle A Scratch other 2 teams in premier +10 Division 1 - +20 Division 2 - +30 Division 3 - +40 Any team withdrawing from the CCMT in either the 1st or 2nd round, will be excluded from participating the Buildbase Plate competition.

Simonds and Sherlock Cups (No Handicaps apply)

All matches are to be played in the following format and teams must draw lots to determine their player order. Frame 1 (Home & Away 1st Players) Frame 2 (Home and Away 2nd Players) Frame 3 (Home & Away 3rd Players) Frame 4 (Home & Away 1st Players) Frame 5 (Home and Away 2nd Players) Frame 6 (Home & Away 3rd Players). A total of 7 points are available. One Point is to be awarded for each frame won and a further point is to be awarded to the team securing the greatest aggregate score over all 6 frame, the first team to secure 4 points wins. For aggregate score reasons it is required that all frames are played until the final black ball is potted. In the rare event that the match ends 3-3 AND the aggregate scores are tied a deciding frame will be played. The teams will draw lots to decide which 2 players are involved. For the Purpose of rule 9.d a claimed or forfeited game will be counted as a 49 to 0 win.

Best of 5 frames 1st round to 1/4 Finals Semi Final best of 7 Frames Final best of 9 frames. No Handicaps This competition will be seeded as that of the previous years finalist.

Walt Bradbury Trophy

Best of 3 Frames All Rounds Players who have already won this competition cannot enter. No Handicaps

Arthur Goodwin Handicap Cup

Best of 3 Frames in all rounds. Players are handicapped according to the league division they play in; Premier Division - 0 Division 1 - +10 Division 2 - +20 Division 3 - +30

Ken Olive Seniors Cup (Over 50's)

Only open to players aged 50 or above as at the first Tuesday in September can enter. Best of 3 Frames in all rounds. Players are handicapped according to the league division they play in; Premier Division - 0 Division 1 - +10 Division 2 - +20 Division 3 - +30

Sherman Pairs

A pair must be 2 players each having played more the 2 league matches for the same club, (they may however play for different teams within the club) during the season of the competition. The winner in all rounds is the pairs securing the best aggregate score over 3 frames. The handicap applied to each pairs is the average of the two players individual handicap based on division. E.g. 2 players carrying a 10 handicap each would play off 10 as the pair (10+10=20 ÷2 =10), while players with 10 and 20 handicaps respectively would play off 15 as the pair (10+20=30 ÷2 =15) Players are handicapped according to the league division they play in; Premier Division - 0 Division 1 - +10 Division 2 - +20 Division 3 - +30
