In Division Two, top of the table
Witney C took on second placed
Thame B.
Witney were sporting a 100% win record, while
Thame had a 100% record of draws! Something was going to give!
Mark Syrett got the visitors off to a great start, beating
Colin Cutler in the first two frames.
Colin Adams and
Dave White then contested a poor third frame, which Adams eventually took 58-25. He then went on to win the next frame to level the match.
Paul Chester put
Witney ahead for the first time in the match with a 66-26 win over
Nigel Bossom. He then looked to be on course to win the final frame and maintain
Witney's win record, but Bossom produced a 22 clearance at the end of the final frame to clinch yet another
draw for
Thame.
