IMPORTANT NOTE:
An issue arose during one of this week’s matches when the cue ball being used was found to be slightly smaller that the rest of the balls in the set. There was also a question mark over the weight of the ball. The issue has been discussed with the club concerned and steps have been taken to rectify the matter. Clubs (and Teams) are reminded that the League Rule 5b requires all clubs to “Make available for play, full size tables which must be in good condition as should the balls and ancillary equipment, all of which should conform to the specifications as laid down by the world governing body”.
